Common questions

Which banks are supported?
Bank of Maldives (BML) only for now, with personal and sole-proprietor (SP) accounts. Company accounts are not supported yet.
What do I need to set it up?
A BML personal or SP account, plus any Android phone (an old spare works) or a free Android emulator on your shop computer. That device stays on and online with the BML app logged in. You can then view alerts from any phone or computer.
Is it safe? Can Palert access my bank account?
No. Palert never has your banking login, so it can never touch or move your money.
How is a payment verified?
Alerts come from your bank's own notification, not a customer screenshot, so the amount you see is always real.
How fast are the alerts?
Payments appear in Palert instantly, the moment your bank notification arrives.
Can I add my staff?
Yes. Owners invite cashiers with their own login and limited access to each business.
What if the alert device goes offline?
Alerts pause until it is back online, then resume. Keep the device plugged in and connected. An always-on emulator on a computer is the most reliable setup.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
You pay monthly by BML transfer, right from your dashboard. There is no setup fee and no contract. Stop any time and your subscription simply ends.
